Virtual cards, dealt in secret
On Loup-Garou Sans Carte, each player discovers their role on their own screen, with a card-flip animation. Nobody else can see it: not the other players, not even a cheater digging through the page’s code, because the server only sends each player what they are allowed to know.
A narrator instead of a game master
No need to sacrifice a player to run the game. The narrator wakes each role, gives them time to act, applies the card swaps and reveals everything at the end. Everyone plays, including whoever organised the evening.
Every role, no equipment

Remotely or in the same room
Built-in voice chat lets you play remotely. But nothing stops you from playing together in the living room: everyone on their phone or computer, microphone muted, debating out loud like in the old days.
